Founder & President of ESCSL
ESCSL was formed due to the increasing demand and growth of cosmetic and aesthetic medicine. No specialty currently offers formal residency training in aesthetic procedures. In today’s modern medicine, advanced technology is rapidly progressing which can clearly be seen with the use of lasers. Patients can now receive quick, non-invasive procedures with little risk or downtime (as compared to the surgical procedures that used to require a hospital operating room and general anesthesia). Most physicians get trained by CME (continuing medical education) courses or seminars which can vary in content, cost, and practicality. , therefore, membership in the ECSL open to a wide variety of medical practitioners; dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons, endocrinologists, family practitioners, and general practitioners, dentists, and ENT specialists, to name a few.
We are dedicated to the advancement of aesthetic and cosmetic medicine as well as the safety for patients and the ethical conduct of physicians and other and allied healthcare professionals’ providers. This organization and society will benefit physicians such as Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, Family Physicians, OB/GYNs, Nurses and all other specialties practicing or interested in pursuing the field of cosmetic and aesthetic medicine. ESCSL teaches the art, science, techniques and procedures of aesthetic medicine to licensed physicians, regardless of specialty. We provide education and hands-on training and disseminate leading edge information gathered from around the world to our members. ESCSL does this through a faculty of mainly part-time medical doctors who are highly experienced in their own fields of expertise in aesthetic medicine.
